This question came up in a recent discussion with a client, and we’d love to hear your take on this.
Should only Linkedin be used as a B2B channel, or do you think other social media platforms are also suitable for exchanges between businesses?
Or put differently: (How) does the purpose of social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Linkedin differ for businesses from the way private individuals interact with each other on these platforms?
I totally believe LinkedIn is the best for B2B, however other platforms such as Facebook can be also suitable for business exchange. I think Instagram and Tiktok can be more B2C or DTC kinda channels instead. Even though if there is an opportunity for a B2B approach on those channels I has to be taken, Just because some platforms are less suitable for b2b doesn't mean It can't be a chance there. I think it also depends on the strategy.
